Nature never resists the changing of the seasons.
The leaves do not cling to the branches when autumn arrives. The flowers do not mourn when their petals fall. Everything understands that releasing what has completed its purpose creates space for new life.
We are being invited to do the same.
Many people tell me they feel emotions they thought they had already healed. Old memories surface. Familiar fears reappear. Relationships begin to shift.
This doesn’t mean you’ve gone backward.
Often, it means you’ve grown enough to finally let these old energies go.
Our bodies hold the stories of our lives. They remember moments of joy, loss, celebration, disappointment, and everything in between. Sometimes those memories remain long after our minds have moved on.
This is why movement is such an important part of healing.
When we move with intention, we create opportunities for stored emotional energy to gently release. We invite our nervous system to feel safe again. We remind our bodies that we are no longer living in yesterday’s story.
Take time this week to move without an agenda.
Walk through a park.
Stand barefoot on the earth.
Stretch slowly while breathing deeply.
Allow your body to guide you rather than your mind.
As you move, imagine every breath creating more space for love, peace, and possibility.
Release doesn’t have to be dramatic.
Sometimes it is simply choosing not to carry what no longer belongs to you.
Trust that whatever is leaving your life is making room for something far more aligned with the person you are becoming.
